Manusa, founded in 1966, designs, manufactures, installs and maintains automatic doors and access control systems for hospitals, airports, offices, retail, shopping centres, hotels, industry, transport infrastructures, etc. In 1990 the company started its international activity, which has taken it to distribute its products to more than 70 countries around the world.

With a professional team of 230 employees, Manusa has branches in Brazil, Portugal, United Arab Emirates and China. The growing international demand has made the export volume to increase around 20% in the last 3 years, today the 42,2% of the total turnover.

Through Manusa Transportation, the division of the company with the aim of offering access solutions in public transport infrastructures, Manusa has taken part in relevant international projects in 2014. For instance, the Bus Rapid Transport system in Islamabad – Rawalpindi (Pakistan) and another BRT in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) have been equipped with Manusa platform screen doors.

Manusa shares the award in the “International Consolidated Career” category with Circontrol, a company from Viladecavalls (Barcelona, Spain) that develops technological solutions in the world of mobility and electric vehicles.

The Awards Ceremony took place last June 18th in the Terrassa Cultural Centre, and was chaired by the Catalan minister of Business and Labour in the Generalitat de Catalunya, Mr. Felip Puig. The first edition of Premis Cambra was in 1977, and from then, the Chamber has recognized the career of more than 160 companies in its territory.
